Long Weekend in Havana
Cuba is a country of contrasts, with over 4500 beautiful islands around the coast most with white sandy beaches and coral reefs, in the mountains there are lush forests and waterfalls, and in the many old towns and cities there is old Spanish and French Colonial architecture. This trip is designed to give you a taste of this wonderful country, and allow you enjoy yourselves on the way. Cuba is not famous for it’s culinary delights, however if you know where to go you can eat well, so I hope that you enjoy our selection of very different place to eat.
Thursday Afternoon arrival into Havana, with an evening dinner at Templete, a charming restaurant overlooking Havana Harbour entrance.
Friday Introduction to Old Havana, visit to the Partagas cigar factory, with a walk through Old Havana ending up with some cold mojitos in the Plaza Cathedral with live music. Dinner at El Ajibe, a fantastic restaurant, ending the evening with the Tropicana Show, probably the most spectacular cabaret you will ever see.
Saturday See more of Havana, old and new, or relax – it’s completely up to you.
Sunday Spending the morning in Havana, Depart back home after lunch.
Monday Arrive back home.
